My Adult Thoughts

Ally was going out for a few drink s with her friends or so she thought. As they neared their local, she spotted the signs for the speed dating night. She did not do speed dating in fact she had pretty much given up on men. She tried to escape but her friends, Rachel and Laura, each grabbed a hand and pulled her into the pub.

Ally's friends explained that they were fed up with her no men attitude and felt as if it had been too long since her last proper relationship. They knew that she had taken the break up badly especially after she found out he had been having an affair for the last six months of their relationship with not a stranger but her sister. Whilst she still was not talking to her sister again, and her friends doubted she ever would, especially as long as she was with Ally's ex still, they felt she needed to move on and begin her non- existent love life again. They felt that speed dating was the best way to her love life back on track.

Ally reluctantly agreed and they slapped their name badges on their breasts and went to get a drink before sitting down at their space. Ally met several men at the speed dating night and whilst some men were simply boring or had too much baggage. When she met Matt however, she realised that not all men were pigs. They talked non stop about their future and it seemed perfect. Not only was he drop dead gorgeous, but he was also intelligent and they shared many of the same interests.

They began dating after that night, and she ended up pretty much living at his as he loved cooking for her and treating her likea queen. Every night, Matt would cook for her, then whilst she was washing up he would always tickle her as he knew that she loved to be tickled. Then they would watch TV on the sofa and they would cuddle. His wandering hand would then touch her, normally between her legs, and then they would have sex. Whilst it was predictable, it was just what she wanted, some security in her love life.In her opinion, it more comfortable that predictable.

She believed that speed dating was the best way forward as she was now more positive about her love life and was looking forward to her relationship with Matt.
