My Adult Thoughts

My girlfriend Jenny and I went to a speed dating even last week and we had a super time. This was the first speed dating event that we had ever gone to and after hearing some horror stories from friends of ours who had really bad experiences we went into the place expecting the absolute worst. Imagine our surprise when we got in to find that over 60% of the guys there were super hot, I think we both breathed a huge sigh of relief. We spent the next two hours getting out quick dates with each of these guys and by the end of the evening we had both met at least one guy that we could totally see potential in. Jenny had even started chatting with a guy during the break and even though she was not supposed to she traded numbers with him.

The next morning we went on the speed dating site to check out if we had any matches and sure enough Jenny had 3 and I had two of them. One was from a guy that I totally would never date, he was about 45 years old and had spent our date time telling me that he was 38 and a stock broker. I was happy to see that the other guy was the one that I had really liked, by then end of the night he had called me and we set up a date to meet the night after.

Out first date was awesome, he took me to a fun bar that I had never been to and we spent the night playing pool and drinking beer. It was a nice,easy date and I never felt pressured or uncomfortable. He is totally the kind of guy that I like dating, relaxed and very sweet so by the end of the evening I was thrilled when he asked me to go out again the next weekend which is tonight.

I am really looking forward to this evening, I can already tell that this is a guy that I can adore and that my family will embrace immediately if they ever get to meet him. It'll be a funny story to tell them about how we met on a speed dating event, but it wont matter as long as my parents see that I am happy they won't care how or when I met him. So this is the second date but I hope there will be many more to come.
